I am a human geographer working with sonic worlds, youth culture, and queerness in a South Asian context. My project, tentatively titled, Bhaichaara Sabse Pyaara [The Brotherhood is most Beloved]: Gendered Scenes in Delhi Hip Hop, takes hip hop scenes in Delhi as a starting point to consider how young people construct gendered, spatialised city worlds through performance, style, and music.
